As the Founder and CEO of The Kaptive, Kapil has established a noteworthy presence in the realm of financial crime risk management, analytics and business process consulting.

He started The Kaptive in June 2023 with the vision of building a boutique risk management firm which aims at becoming a deeply relevant partner for all our clients. Contrary to aiming for sheer size, his focus is on a small client base but offering highly personalized services that go beyond industry standards, and thereby adding significant value.

Kapil’s professional journey spans over 22 years in Banking and Financial Services, with a significant part of his career, 17 + years, spent at Genpact where he was the Global Analytics Leader for the Financial Services and Capital Markets vertical at Genpact. His responsibilities encompassed key areas such as Risk Management, Data Analytics & Investment Research including overseeing a $200 million P&L and leading a team of over 4,500 analysts across India, North America, Europe, and Australia.

His professional background also includes a four-year tenure at the Citigroup.
